Empowering survivors.
Supporting clinicians.
5.5 Million women
in Germany have experienced sexual violence, yet, according to EU estimates, only around
10 % seek assistance.
Despite just over 10,000 women reporting such incidents to the police annually, the actual number of court cases is likely much higher. The primary reason for the low reporting rate is the difficult journey survivors face to access clinical support, evidence collection, and follow-up care.
This unresolved trauma burdens the German healthcare system with around €1.15 billion each year.
By incorporating expert insights and meticulous documentation, VISIONS streamlines the process, provides reliable evidence, and ensures long-term societal benefits.
We believe that until our society can prevent all cases of sexual violence, every survivor – regardless of gender, origin or insurance status – must receive accessible, compassionate and culturally sensitive care.
was developed to bridge gaps for all parties involved by providing an accessible digital solution to seamlessly assist survivors, clinical examiners, and, if necessary, the police throughout the entire process. Our solution aims to remove barriers for survivors of sexual violence, enabling them to make informed decisions about their next steps, such as examination, evidence collection, and interview protocols.
VISIONS offers intuitive digital documentation that simplifies evidence collection for clinicians, supplying background information when needed. This comprehensive approach guarantees high quality evidence and enables every clinician to provide the best possible care for survivors.
VISIONS offers a digital aid to guide women through the process in the emergency room, inform them about their rights and options during care and reporting, and offer discharge support to ensure they do not miss important follow-up steps and check-ups with their local gynecologist.
